About Dr. Kennedy

Dr. Erin Kennedy grew up in Nebraska and received her medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She graduated with honors and was selected by the medical faculty for the medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Kennedy completed a general surgery training program in Madison, Wisconsin, completed her Plastic Surgery training in Cincinnati, Ohio, and pursued additional training in cosmetic surgery with Drs. Baker and Stuzin in Miami, Florida.

Dr. Kennedy and her family moved to Dubuque in 1997. She has worked to develop a premier plastic surgery practice offering an array of techniques and procedures, assisted by a knowledgeable, friendly staff.

• Board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), recognized as THE Plastic Surgery board - requiring the training, experience, excellence and judgment needed to provide the plastic surgery care you deserve

• Fellow - American College of Surgeons (FACS)
• Active in local medical and community boards as well as regional and national plastic surgery committees
• Recently selected to a national leadership program by the American Society of Plastic Surgery
• Has written numerous research publications and given dozens of talks and presentations for community and medical groups

Our operating room was designed, built and runs according to the rigorous national standards of the American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities (AAAASF).

Our exceptional staff provide highly personal service during your initial recovery and deliver detailed information and teaching to assist with your recovery after you return home.

Dr. Kennedy maintains privileges at both Mercy Medical Center and Finley Hospital and can perform procedures at these facilities as well as PSA Surgical Center.
